George Claffey III holds an MA in Education.
He is a certified Master Teacher with the United States Golf Federation and was named as one of the TOP 50 instructors in 2022/2023 by the World Golf Teachers Federation. He has been the resident teaching professional at Miner Hills since 2005 and a certified coach and member of the First Tee Organization in Connecticut.
Mr. Claffey has played and reviewed golf courses in Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Ireland, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, and The Philippines. He has been featured in various magazines like Golf Teaching Pro Magazine, West Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Magazine and the prominent Hartford Courant.
George has been most successful in assisting golfers of all levels, improving every aspect of their game through simplified individual attention.
